Goat's Milk Now available in Tucson and Phoenix stores! Our delicious Raw Goat's Milk is produced by our herd of award winning LaMancha Dairy Goats. The goats are fed premium alfalfa hay along with the natural browse available in the beautiful San Pedro River Valley. The browse changes seasonally and includes Mesquite leaves, tender branches and beans, sweet tumbleweeds, and various grasses and brush. During the winter we feed a grass based pellet along with alfalfa since browse is not available. While our hay is not currently certified Organic, we are considering working towards Organic status in the future. Our milk is tested monthly by the State of Arizona and must comply with strict standards for bacteria counts. Our standard plate count has been in the "excellent" category each test. We also test our milk with a private lab every two weeks. We test our does milk individually each month to be sure they are producing high quality, healthy milk. We do not treat our animals with antibiotics unless absolutely necessary. If treated, the milk from that particular doe does not go into the bulk tank. We test every batch of milk for antibiotic residue as required by the State of Arizona. We do not use pesticides or hormones of any type on our herd.
